In conjunction with run-off prior to delivery or start-up at the customer plant, UVA can provide users with basic training to help them get started with production. However, to obtain optimal benefit from the high-tech product solutions, further specialized training is essential for the customer's personnel at all levels.

UVA organizes classroom-based training at UVA in Sweden, Germany, USA and China. Specially customized courses can be arranged on-site subject to agreement. UVA organizes training in operation, programming and mechanical and electrical maintenance.

The operation course is intended for machine operators, and covers everything necessary for day-to-day operations - start-up of the machine, reference setting, changing of the wheel, and so on.
The programming course may be viewed as a continuation course targeted at more advanced users, enabling them to develop and optimize the grinding process.

With sufficient training, UVA machines, and control systems can be maintained by the user company's personnel, thereby minimizing the risk of production disruptions.
