Overview of KMT's Asian Operations

Group KMT AB is a Sweden-based international enterprise group committed to providing machinery manufacturing customers with professional products, system solutions and a complete range of after-sales services in waterjet cutting, robotic solutions, precision grinding and sheet metal working. In order to serve Chinese market better, KMT's subsidiaries including UVA, Lidkoping, Robotic Solutions and Waterjet Systems have established branches in Shanghai and Beijing.

KMT Machine Tools (Shanghai) Ltd. is registered as a wholly foreign owned enterprise in Shanghai by Group KMT AB. The company is located in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, the most famous development zone in China with excellent business environment and reliable logistics infrastructure. The company mainly provides cutting systems and material processing equipment for processing of composites, textiles, fiber glass reinforced materials, plastic foam, sandwiches, etc., and for trimming, boring and shape cutting of automotive and aerospace parts based on plastics and composites. The predecessor of KMT Robotic Solutions was the joint venture between ABB and Ingersoll-Rand. The company is specialized in the design and manufacture of high quality robotized 3D waterjet cutting and routing systems and has installed over 550 systems all over the world.
