Open System

The Open System is a lean turnkey solution developed for cutting automotive interior trims such as carpets, head- and trunkliners, insulation mats and dashboards.

The part to be cut is positioned on a special fixture and kept in place either by gravity or vacuum on the tables. The operator loads one of the work-tables whilst both robots work together on the other side. Two different parts can be cut in parallel with the same machine, changing the part fixture is simple and fast.
