RoboTrim RT-400

Portable routing system

The portable RoboTrim RT-400 is one of the smallest robotic routing systems from KMT Robotic Solutions. Its compact, 8’ x 10’ footprint and single-base construction allow it to be moved easily to different areas of the plant floor with minimal set-up. The system, which features a floor-mounted KMT AccuTrim™ R-44 robot and a servo-driven rotating table, was designed to trim thermoformed, injection molded, blowmolded and rotationally molded parts. The system can accommodate parts that are 45” x 45” x 42” high and parts that are 36” x 36” x 48” high. The RT-400 can be equipped with a complaint knife or a router/knife tool change option to suit your trimming needs.

The RoboTrim RT-400 system is loaded from the front of the cell. There are also access doors on each side of the cell so the robot and other equipment can be easily reached for programming and maintenance.

Safety is our number one priority. Each system is equipped with a variety of safety features (such as light curtains or scanners) designed to separate the operator from the trimming area, which results in a safer and more ergonomic operating environment.
