RoboKnife RT-200

The RoboKnife RT-200 is the smallest standard knife trimming and deflashing solution offered by KMT. The portable 3’ x 9.5’ system was designed so that it could be easily moved and located between molding machines. The RT-200’s riser-mounted robot and servo-controlled fixture table can accommodate parts up to 24” x 24” x 30”.

The RoboKnife RT-200 system is loaded from the front of the cell. Once the operator exits the trimming area (which is guarded by light curtains) and presses the Cycle Start button, the part rotates into place to be trimmed. The manual doors on each side of the cell provide easy access to the robot and other equipment for maintenance and programming.

Safety is our number one priority. Each system is equipped with a variety of safety features (such as light curtains or scanners) designed to separate the operator from the trimming area, which results in a safer and more ergonomic operating environment.
