Blowmolded Plastics

The challenge with blowmolded products is that they significantly change in size as they cool. To automate trimming of the parting line, a compliant device is needed to separate the part from the scrap. KMT's patented compliant knife technology was developed for this purpose. KMT also offers materials handling systems that can remove the part from the molding press.
