KMT Waterjet Aqualine™ Cutting Head

KMT Waterjet Systems, the world leader in waterjet technology, manufactures the most efficient water jet cutting heads in the industry. These water jet cutting heads move at speeds up to 60,000 psi, which is the lowest cost per inch. They are available as complete kits (Aqualine™) or as individual waterjet cutting system parts from KMT. These water jet cutting heads cycle on and off very fast for thousands of cycles. The water jet valves are used in a wide range of applications, including high-speed robot waterjet cutting systems, high-volume waterjet slitting operations, x-y waterjet cutting systems, or unique abrasive water jet custom-cutting operations.

Two KMT valve options are available for water jet cutters: standard valves or the NO/NC (Normally Open/Normally Closed) valve with longer duty cycles. Both valves are operated using shop air and have 12 stainless steel springs to open and close.

KMT Waterjet Systems recommends the use of diamond orifices with water jet cutting machines for longer, uninterrupted cycles. Diamond orifices eliminate scrap material and are ideal for cutting plastic, carpet, leather, foam, fabric, corrugated cardboard or paper. Applications also include cutting fiberglass (for boats) and other difficult-to-cut items, without dust.
