With a waterjet cutting system, a very important factor for cutting edge quality is the accuracy and stability of the abrasive water jet flow rate. Using this meter from KMT Waterjet Systems, control of the water jet’s abrasive flow is handled by the metering wheel. The wheel is easily adjusted, even while the water jet cutter is operating. In addition, because the wheel is controlled electronically, it is possible to adjust it while waterjet cutting from the control panel (or cutting software), opening doors for incredible versatility.
