KMT Waterjet Systems ADS Series Abrasive Hoppers

Top loaded KMT Waterjet hoppers operate and feed abrasive using air pressure.

The bulk abrasive storage vessel is top loaded, available in a number of sizes and is designed for consistent, regular flow of abrasive for smoother waterjet cuts and minimized abrasive waterjet consumption. A major benefit is reduced product waste and lower operating costs using the waterjet cutting systems, due to the consistent output and reliable performance.

Two options are available. One option, the barrel-shaped hopper, holds more water jet abrasive and has simpler operation. The other can be re-filled without interruption while cutting.

Other features include: side gauge showing amount in the abrasive holding tank; warning light to indicate level is low; variety of sizes (to 2,000 pounds) for large capacity operations; electronic signal can be sent to the control panel, warning of low abrasive level; and, a screen which keeps out large pieces which might fall into the hopper while loading, to prevent clogging at the head while cutting.
