Robotic Applications
Cutting head is in general mounted on a robotic arm
For waterjet cutting in three dimensions robotics and motion technology is used. The robotised solution ensures high flexibility in changing the production flow. For example, it is easy to change the cutting program to perform several different operations in the same unit, with virtually no re-setting time. Robotised waterjet cutting solutions are very safe, cost-effective, highly productive and environmentally secure. Robotised abrasive waterjet cutting systems provide an efficient alternative to conventional machining methods such as sawing, shearing, punching and milling as well as thermal processes including laser and plasma cutting for deburring and cutting castings, forged parts and composite components.
