With the introduction of the ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II, KMT Waterjet has developed an abrasive cutting head assembly that provides the best efficiency by utilizing long life components.
Fast Installation - The ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II represents a complete package, which can be easily retrofitted into any machine already in operation.
New, Simplified Modular Design
The new AUTOLINE™ II has an easier fitting for the abrasive hose, an abrasive inlet mounted at an angle for improved flow and a new, larger wear insert which is much easier to replace. The modular design of the AUTOLINE™ II provides the ultimate in efficiency: Like the original AUTOLINE™, allwear components can be changed individually, as needed, allowing maximum efficiency. In all abrasive cutting heads, there are three areas of wear: the orifice, the mixing chamber, and the focusing tube. The AUTOLINE™ II enables the individual replacement of any wear component, maximizing efficiency to achieve the lowest operating cost.
Simple, Self-aligning Components
The self-aligning components of the AUTOLINE™ II provide true, perfect alignment to extend the life of focusing tubes and mixing chambers. Everyone claims alignment, however, only the precision finish of the orifices in the AUTOLINE™ II enable true precision alignment. Focusing tubes last longer and wear evenly in an aligned cutting head.
Applicable to all Single and Multiple Axis Systems - The engineers of KMT Waterjet focused on easy installation of the complete cutting head assembly onto any 2D or multiple axis cutting system to enable all customers in the field to benefit from the leading performance standard of the well established AUTOLINE™ I cutting nozzle. Its name is synonymous for economy and reliability.
Compact Design for any Application - In its standard version with a nozzle tube length of approx. 150 mm the complete ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II weighs only 2.8 kg thus guaranteeing high flexibility and easy use in any type of cutting application. Depending on the concept of the complete cutting system, the assembly can be equipped with nozzle tube of lengths between approx. 76 mm to 254 mm.
Quick Change to Pure Water Cutting - If you need to cut with a pure waterjet, you simply unscrew the AUTOLINE™ II cutting head from the nozzle tube and replace it by the nozzle nut which fixes the orifice in its position.
Proven Valve Technology - The high pressure on/off valve has been performing outstandingly in the very high demanding automotive industry for several decades. The integrated high pressure seal provides best lifetime performance.
The AUTOLINE™ head is available as a complete assembly (ACTIVE AUTOLINE™) which includes all of the components needed (valve, nozzle tube, orifice, cutting head, focusing tubes), as well as the AUTOLINE™ itself or as individual components.
