KMT presents itself in grand style at the occasion of EMO trade fair
During this year’s EMO, in Hanover from September 17 to 22, KMT presents his products and services at a 250 sq. m. booth. The Swedish enterprise is the leader in mechanical engineering in the fields of water jet cutting, precision grinding technology and robot technology. It is the first time that KMT uses the occasion of a trade fair to exhibit several business sectors at one joint booth. The visitor will have a general survey of the quality products and of the worldwide services of the KTM group. Precision is the key word and the element that connects all KTM business sectors. It stands for quality products, services and customer-oriented system solutions.
Two new abrasive cutting heads for water jet cutting developed
KMT Waterjet Systems presents two new cutting heads for abrasive water jet cutting ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II und ACTIVE IDE™ I. As a novelty the cutting heads feature a different construction of the nozzle body where the abrasive mixes with the cutting jet.
ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II is a refinement of the market-leading predecessor model ACTIVE AUTOLINE I. In addition to the many successful characteristics of its predecessor with regard to performance and efficiency, it features new technical improvement such as an optimized abrasive supply, leakage bores and assembly without need for tools. ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II combines highest efficiency and profitability due to the fact that components of long service life are used in the modular construction: Service time is minimized, service life is extended.
ACTIVE IDE ™ I is a newcomer to our product range which stands for easy operation. The cutting head consists of a minimum number of single components. It offers easy operation and produces highly precise cutting edges. A minimum of servicing, a cutting jet which always is exactly aligned, a prefilter to protect the water nozzle and an advanced nozzle valve, those are the main advantages of ACTIVE IDE ™ I. To get a perfect cutting jet only the focusing nozzle needs to be exchanged.
